In the Underdark, Omeluum offers us the ring that it has been using to avoid detection from elder brains.
I feel like Omeluum needs this ring a lot more than I do, but the only options to decline are basically:

- I want this power *tents fingers* yes, yes muahahaha.
- Leave.

I realize it doesn't affect anything other than role-play, but I'd like to be able to Complete this quest by declining the ring without feeling like a power-hungry creep.
It would be nice if there was an option that was just like "I couldn't take something so precious from you, but thank you."

Also, speaking of Omeluum, on one of my newer playthroughs I remembered it wanted info about the nautiloid ship so I took and kept every slate I could find because I was curious to see if I could give them to it later, but it didn't seem to care. I sold them to it anyway but it'd be nice if those were an option to trade (basically to avoid having to do performance/int checks on relaying info about the nautiloid) in exchange for the ring as well. Or just to gift in general.

I agree and I agree. An extra line of dialogue would be nice. And I can't imagine how he wouldn't want those rune slates.

I seem to remember there being exactly such an option in Early Access; in fact, I thought there were generally more options to turn down quest rewards. But my memory may be playing tricks on me. In any case, I agree - give us the option to let them keep it. They may really need it by the end of the game!
