I noticed that opened chests weigh nothing, so you can pick up a few and stick them in your inventory. Then click on them (while in your inv) to open them, then you can stick stuff in there or take it out. Just keep it "open" or it will gain back all it's weight. The reason why this helps me so much, is anything inside the chest wont show up when you trade. So I took all my food items and stuck them into a chest and now my trade window doesn't have (literally) 40 different food items clogging it up. This is probably an exploit of a bug tho, that an "Opened Chest" weighs 0 while a "Chest" weighs 600, but then again you don't gain any real benefit by doing this, other then saving yourself a headache while trying to sell your loot and haveing to scan thru breads and cheeses.
It also makes moving stuff between your hero and DK easier, since you can just stick stuff in the chest and then move the chest. Adding items to a chest window is much easier then moving them to your DK.
