<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> Hi,

I just want to thank all the people who helped me to be able to finally get my Avatar set up. I wanted to find a ferret but that was beyond my ability so I'm happy with the one I picked.

Thanks again.

Shelli

Well, bunnies have sharp, pointy teeth!

No, I was just wondering why she wants one, it doesn't make sense.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />Hi,

Where do you think my name comes from. In the last 9 years we've had 4 of these wonderful animals. They are my companions just like any animal would be. I am a severe asthmatic and am housebound most of the fall and winter. They bring me happiness and contentment. I am not allergic to them since they have hair instead of fur.

Any animals are special to their owmers. All I can say is that they are very loving, entertaining little clowns. I quess you've never been around one. I hope one day you can meet one.

Sincerely,

Shelli <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kitty.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

I have seen them, they are very cute, and I'd get one if it didn't mean hell breaking out between my 2 cats and them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />Hi,

Glad to be here. Alot of people have been very nice and answered all of the questions I've posted. I'm finding it great talking to people from around the world. I've joined a few other forums but I'm enjoying this one more than any of the others.

Thanks,

Shelli

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />Hi,

I quess where you live ferrets are not usually kept as just pets. Here in the States they are. As I explained to Raze, I am a severe asthmatic and becaues ferrets have hair and not fur I am not allergic to them. I am mostly housebound through the fall and winter and they are my companions just as any other animal would be.

They are loving, entertaining little clowns and give me alot of happiness and love. Those are the best reasons to have any animal. I hope this clears it up alittle for you.

Sincerely,

Shelli

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> Hi,

I'm glad you have seen them. They are great animals and you are right they would not get along with your cats. They would have to be brought up together from the time they were all babies. They do along with dogs though.

Goldylocks sent me a web site to copy a ferret picture as my Avatar but all the pixels are way above 80x80 so I quess I can't use them. Right?

I think I'll wait until my son gets here Thrus. He's pretty good with a computer. If he can't figure it out then I'll ask my husband to talk to the computer guys at work.

They can not be used as-is, but can be cropped and/or resized down to 80x80. Get your son to check out;

graphics programs, for editing screen shots

free web host with hotlinking? (for avatars)

BTW, I got the best quality/size for my avatar by reducing it to 256 colours and saving as a png.
