During a certain companion arc you get a scroll of true ressurection.
As a quest item the scroll is earmarked for a certain person and can't be used for anything else.

But what if there was no restriction and the game would allow you to ressurect anyone? Who would you use the scroll on?

True ressurection according to D&D rules:

- Creature is not dead for longer than 200 years
- Must touch the body or know the creatures name in which case a new body is created
- Creature is healed of everything (poison, disease, missing limbs, ect).
- Soul must be free and willing
- Undead come back as living creatures
- Must not have died of old age

Orin the Sexy, so I can romance her on my Durge playthrough.

Bhaalspawns going full Alabama on eachother is kind of the norm

^ So long as heel--baby turn happens.
Either custom or Durge playthrough regardless.

Apparently Astarion has not actually been dead for 200 years, so...

Karlach would be my #2 choice, but in my games, I figure there's plenty of time to go find/buy/scribe another scroll - apparently Gale knows where to get them - while she (or, at least, someone with her memories) and Omeluum chill out together. Plus you wouldn't need the full "True Resurrection" in her case. ("Reincarnate" might be fun....)

Surprised Withers didn't resurrect her parents, when I dropped their bodies right in front of him.

Astarion withouut a shadow of a doubt. I'm pretty sure he'd let me kill him if it meant he could walk in the sun - might have to do a bit of a persuasion check though rofl

Technically this should work for Astarion since he's JUST about 200 years old. The rules goes "no longer than 200 years", after all.
Astarion would be my choice, without hesitation. Gods know he deserves it.
