Hey All,
I'm a returning DD player... Oh ya

I likes BD but got some q's, here goes.

Is there a web page with skill decriptions in it? i see alto of new skills and not much of a description on what exactly they do mainly just +2 or +3 . And unfournetly im worken so dont have as much time to test out all the skills to see what they do and how they work.

also how does alchemy work? In DD yu just dragged a bottle on a herb, higher lvl skill the larger the bottles u could make. but i cant seem to do it in BD, =( so im kinda stumped.

Lock pick as well doesnt seem to work. it always says my skill is to low... and i maxed it atone point and it said the same thing. I tested it on a few chests. And it seems like i dont need lockpicks, am i right there?

Also i was curious if form other ppl's exp if theses skills are worth while for a lvl 12 warrior, trading, Emblish equiptment. or is money easy to come by?

P.S. I apologise if these were already asked, i shearched but new to these fourms and never had much luck. the manual is ok but i likes bloddy details <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Thanks all,ill check back again after work.

Lockpick is a totally broken skill, I've been told. You're better off unlearning it and sinking the points into something else. (Too bad, it was one of my favorites in DD. Such a time saver!)

A lot of the skills do what they sound like. I'm probably not too much help there, as my characters are both warriors (a pair of brutes, really) and I haven't bothered learning any of the mage skills.

When you find alchemy plants, you can right-click on them in your inventory. If the right character (the one with the alchemy skill) has them, and has enough of the right combinations to make anything, there should be options that come up for potions you can make. This is another one that I decided wasn't worth spending points on, so I unlearned it two acts ago and I'm having trouble remembering how it worked.

I wouldn't worry about trading or embellish equipment. Loot and gold are plentiful, and the only time you might ever be low on cash is if you unlearn a really expensive skill.

There is no skill list online yet, that I know of.

Having trouble with alchemy.

With the 1.4x patch, gold is easy to come by (especially if you use Pickpocket).

Personally, I like shield best. (For full discussion on shield vs 2H weapon see here).
Damage for weapons skill is not so good (very low increase per level, maybe just 1 point), you're far better of with Critical Hit and Sharpen (craftmanship).

I used to be snow white, but I drifted... Check out my Beyond Divinity fansite
