Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Saved Game Location

Hello Everyone

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, I tried to find a thread about the save game location but I was unable to find one.

It might seem to be a same issue but I think we need an option to change our save location. Some players may not have an issue but my C:\ is only a 95GB SSD and I don't have room for 10GB of BG3 saved games and I imagine there are other players in the same boat as me, or maybe there are players who would just like the option to change where our saved games go.

Does anyone think there would be a possibility that Larian may add this option in the future? Or would it be to difficult now that the game has been released?

IDK in M$ bloatware but in linux with proton, is /home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1086940/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/PlayerProfiles/Public/Savegames/Story/

I have never tried this, but I noticed that in the Steam settings menu, there is a "storage" menu-item. And here you can "add a drive".
You could check this out , maybe it allows relocating game files.
