Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Identify Skill

I have identify level 2 and am looking to upgrade but I guess I missed the teacher to raise it higher. I cannot go above level 2. Does anyone know where the next teacher is for that skill? I'm currently about half way thru act 2.

I don't think there's a teacher in a2, but the temple smith at the start of a3 can teach you identify up to level 5.

Nope, Lews. Annabelle does not teach identify. Brian does, but only in Act 4 (lvl 10)+ Act 5(lvl 20)

In-game there's only one teacher in Act 1 for lvl 5 (weapon officer) and Act 3 (smith)

Is it worth building up identify? My DK has two points in it, but having a vendor identify an item for 100 is cheap. Is there any reason to build up the skill in Act 4?

I didn't use my skill pts for this skill, SilkenKidden - I had enough money to let BF traders identify for me as long as I was in-game.

But maybe it is a fine skill for gamers roaming through the BF grounds and not wanting to run up a lot to the traders there. I think, it's up to your game play style <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Nope, the BF traders have a level cap up to 30, depending on the skill. The level cap in-game is 5-10.

Shaman magic has level cap 18 in the Act 5 BF. And you can buy both Shaman paths for 25000 gp - special price, summer offer.
