Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Help Please- I am tired of dying

I just made it to Act II and cannot get past the gate. As soon as I run into any hostile being, I am dead meat...well my DK is anyway. My hero seems to do ok. My DK is a warrior and my Hero is a Mage, both at level 11. I have a heck of a time keeping them alive and well, but my hero will live longer. I do not know what I missed, as I killed everything in Act I and the battlefield. I am out of heal potions and cannot get far at all. Should I have made my DK a Mage? When I distributed the points, I made sure they had plenty of hit points.

I guess that your DK has a bad constitution or not enough protections.
Give the cristal bag to the DK and use the charms to increase the constitution and the protection of your characters.

Hmmmmm,I would have to agree with Barta. Never underestimate your constitution. And don't waste your experience points where you don't need them. Your Mage needs High intelligence and very little strength while your Warrior needs high strength and virtually no intelligence. BUT!!! All classes need high constitution, or you will die a lot. Also look at where you have invested your skill points. Concentrate on a few things for each character. Pick a path for your warrior like melee or ranged, but I don't reccomend investing in both. Just pick one or the other and load that up with skill points. My warriors are one hit wonders because I have put a huge amount of points into melee-2handed-slashing for one and melee-2handed-crushing for the other. That makes for quick kills. Also, don't bother with repair, and identify. After you have gotten a few items that need identified or you need something repaired, just warp to the battlefield and let the merchants there take care of that stuff for you. If you have been keeping everything you find and are selling them then you should have plenty of gold.
