Who is suitable for multiclassing the Great Old One Sorcerer besides the Paladin?
I want to multiclass with another melee class for the sake of fully unlocking the potential of the blade pact, but I don’t know who to choose yet... The first idea is Warlock + Bard of Swords, but the immediate question is which fighting style is preferable - Dueling or with two weapons, I'm leaning towards two weapons, but the immediate question is how to get the pact binding for offhand - get the Infernal Rapier? That is, take the Two-Handed feat for this? The second option that I saw was to take only two levels of warlock, with the invocations as One with shadows and Devlilish Sight in the ,and after that completely go into the bard class, and then increase agility as the main stat, and use standard short swords or scimitars. Well, the third option is to simply become a warrior, immediately take on the fighting style at the first level and fight through attacks with the bonus effect of damage - a kind of hexblade version.
So which of them are more preferable? I dont like padlock option because there need to be first levels of game a paladin and then respec and also i would like to make my character piercing damage with Bhaalist armor, not heavy armored classic paladin with bound weapon.

While it’s far from an optimal build, have you considered arcane trickster rogue?

Thematically it works as you are the procurer of eldritch secrets. You’ll have a few more spell slots to play with a lots of tricky spells and abilities to utilize.

You’ll need to decide how much you want to focus on spellcasting. It may be better to focus on Dex rather than Cha, especially if you are only planning on dipping into warlock.

This was actually my first 5E table top character and I had a great time with it.

I’m pretty sure you can only bind one weapon as a pact weapon, but I’m not sure if you can summon a warlock weapon and then bind another weapon, as I’ve never tried it. That could work if you want to focus on Cha.
