Hi, after lurking as a guest for a long time, I'm finally taking the plunge with my first post.

I have read quite a few posts saying that summoning dolls are only useful as mules and trap detectors, however I have found an additional job for my little skeleton nobody seems to have mentioned before: He is my alchemist!! Since "Bonehead" had four skill points, I thought I'd try him as the group's alchemist and he has been happily churning out potions for everybody ever since ... including those nice holy water concoctions. That way I didn't have to assign precious skill points to my fighting guys.

Now I am waiting to see if my second doll can moonlight too!!!

I can't understand people who say the dolls are useless for anything other than pack horses. I use them all the time, and have a pack of 6 to help me slash through the hordes of baddies in no time.

If your planning to play in the after game battlefields then they're awesome, and here follows why, but careful reading it if your haven't finished the game yet, cos it gives the ending away.....

Spoiler : When the game ends you lose your Death Knight, so make a save before the end of the game. Cash in all your Death Knights skill points and turn them into Doll level upgrades (Add 4/5 as doll skill slots so they can have doll range 4/5 on 1 of the dolls, if none of your characters has it). Then use all the points to level up your dolls (I don't bother with the demon, since he cant use a weapon). My other 3 dolls all have strength and agility at 100+ without any aid from charms, and are powerful accompanyments for my now loan hero. An awesome foursome + 1 packhorse (Demon doll)
