Do you think Larian will make figures of our beloved companions? It would be so cool because I adore the characters in the game so much!

I know as of now we only have the figure from the Collector's Edition.

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that WotC haven't announced a D&D miniatures set for the Baldur's Gate 3 companions and antagonists. Though, they didn't make one for the D&D movie characters either - just some of the monsters that appeared in it.
So, in terms of anything officially through WizKids for tabletop gaming - probably not, unfortunately.

As for display pieces and statuaries, they'll probably surface at some point but tend to be rather limited run items. A lot goes into design and production for them, which means they can be a bit of a risk for whoever Larian partners with to produce them - As much as people say they want them, the unfortunate truth is that the price is usually a major deterrent to the average consumer. How do you decide who gets statues?
Is one companion more likely to sell than others? Karlach, Shadowheart and Astarion might all sell well, but if you can only release one - who do you pick?
Minsc is possibly another issue - Are there any other licensing issues around the character because he's appeared in prior games published by entirely different studios as well as in comics, graphic novels and other media?

Hi! I believe the collectable miniatures is a great idea and I have quite a few from WotC D&D miniature line (2003-2011) and Wizkids' "Icons of the Realms" series (2014-currently).

In my 28mm collection of prepainted miniatures, I have a Minsc with Boo on his shoulder, I have a miniature which really looks like Laezel (I suspect Laezel was originally based on the original female githyanki warrior/mindslicer artwork developed for miniatures and tabletop D&D between 2009 - 2018). I recently bought a wizard whos is really like Gale minus his cool beard, and I have a drow sergeant who really works as a proxy for Minthara.

I'm currently looking for proxies (maybe after some re-painting) for Shadowheart, Jaheira and Wyll.

Finding miniatures representing the generic baddies is supereasy. I can recommend miniaturesgallery.com, which covers the aforementioned series as well as Pathfinder minis. Let me know if I can offer more details.

Some bespoke Japanese sculpt house will probably make $500 US plus, foot tall versions of each.
Removeable parts, the works.

In this order:

Lae'zel with Great Sword
Karlach with Blood of Lathander (glows yellow)
Shadowheart in Dark Justiciar Armor
Gale with a blue glowing staff

Now if you REALLY want to make money then engage a high quality 3D printing house to make Tav statues.

Now I want to see "Lae-zel's Practical Underwear" and "Shadowheart's Broody anties" or "Astarion's Tighty Baby Blues" hit the shops ...

Short run/small scale production figures would be pewter, no? I don't think the volume would justfy steel dies for plastics.
