I turned off all camera options that jump to characters during their turn etc, but still whenever a character in my party casts a spell or uses ability, the camera jumps to max distance and centers on caster. With how badly it is implemented, after 160hrs of gameplay i cant say I’ve seen a fireball or lightning bolt hit the enemies. It’s especially bad indoors and if any elevation is involved.
If i target a group of enemies with a fireball, it will always jump to the caster and i miss the actual hit. It’s ridiculous that i can not control the camera, it lives its own life and it doesn’t give af about want i actually want to see.
Stacked some powder barrels around boss razglin , wanted to shoot an arrow from the beams above and look how it all explodes. NOPE! Immediately when the arrow is shot, the camera moves to the shooter, tries to move to max distance but fails because of the roof overhead and ultimately gets stuck somewhere in the wall. I didn’t see any of it, just heard the explosion.
Spending 20 -30 seconds trying to give a jump order because camera immediately flies into the roof or through the ground is ridiculous. Navigating walled areas with elevation is a nightmare.
Can’t say I’ve ever played a game with such broken camera behaviour, pls fix. I’m not a cool guy from the movies, i want to look at the explosion.
