just like many people I was trying to understand if and how it was possible to have more than 4 players participate in a multiplayer session. After going through quite a few threads in different forums it definitely seems not possible.
My question is then: what is the purpose of the recently added in-game wardrobe, the one found in your encampment? If it's not to store and swap several custom created characters (and that clearly seems its purpose to me, given all the slots available inside) then why adding it in first place? If it is not meant to make it possible to have a turn-over among several custom generated characters mid-game in multiplayer campaigns, then what would its purpose be?
I case your buddy quits and you want to finish the campaign. That way you can send their character to Narnia in the wardrobe and play a propper compagnion in your team.
Ok, but I can have three buddies at most in a multiplier, supposedly...why all those slots in the wardrobe, if you can stash away 3 characters, at most? Or maybe it's mainly meant to stash away *hirelings*, and not real players?
The wardrobe has a bunch of slots because all storage items in this game have infinite slots. You can only have a maximum of three custom characters (or "Tavs") in a campaign. The wardrobe is so you can send those characters to camp and bring Origin characters / NPCs into your party.
