One pain point with this game that comes out over and over again is inventory management. Personally, I'm just a bit into Act 2 and it's already come to the point where I feel like I'm spending 1/3 of my playtime sorting through inventory, either mine or vendors, for reasons. I thought I found a workable solution. Use 3 backpacks, one for armour of all kinds, one for jewelry, one for weapons. Put everything not equipped in those backpack, store them in chest in camp, then when I want to review my gear just pick up the backpacks and use the equipment slots on each character to find what I want. Still a bit annoying, but the game is great, I'm willing to put up with it. Except, now when I want to get my armour backpack out of the chest it says "Can't Pick Up (too heavy)". OH COME ON! That was the whole point, to have them all accessible at once. I just recruited Halsin, I wanted to give him some gear to see how a druid plays. I guess in another playthrough maybe.
But I'm not writing just to complain. Of all the inventory management suggestion, there is one that I believe would make a huge difference.
Please, PLEASE, in the name of Tiamat, add the Traveler's Chest(s) to party inventory while in camp. Even better, if possible, allow us access to all inventories, on all characters and all chests and bags, which would allow access to items equipped by characters who are not in party. But I realize that might be tricky in multiplayer, so maybe just add each character's chest to their inventory then. It would still help. Being able to see items that go into an equipment slot by clicking that slot works very well. If only it would show all items, no matter which container they are in. So close. If we could also access items in the camp chest while looking at a char's inventory in camp, the equipment slots would act like automatic bags basically. Please make it a priority.
That's it, that's the whole point of this post.
One other thing that helps is that on PlayStation we are able to filter the slot gear for only items the character is proficient in. It would help to be able to do the same on all platforms. Or maybe I don't know how.
Anyway, allow access to all inventories while in camp, that would probably be the most impactful change.
