Hi there. Just wanted to add some of my thoughts of things you could do to further improve your great game.
1) Better multi player management. Add/remove characters similar to BG 2/1 with party scalibilty:
So far the multiplayer options and very lack luster and buggy. You should be able to create a whole party of custom characters and adjust the size from 4-6. And edit the party of custom characters as wanted, drop in and drop out connectivity. The need to micro manage profiles is cringe.
2) Detter DM prompts: Sometimes the players don't know the stakes of any event when they trigger it. For example me and my partner were playing the tiefling and druid grove scenario, and she triggered off the fight between them. Not knowing that the battle was in real time after we went out side, by the time we realised what was happening the tieflings were almost all wiped out. Where as apparently if you fight through the inner part of the groves interior to Kevlors room the real time combat doesn't take place. Meaning we simply didn't know we had to switch to turn based mode to intercept the battle proper or move through the inner area.
A simple "quickly, the battle is raging on and as we speak and you need to move in turn based to save the tieflings asap or else" or something would help us navigate when the game goes through weird temporal events like that.
3) Release campaign tools: the game is a hit, and it's created a huge cultural buzz over CRPGs. There's legions of fans out there who are dedicated to modding and creating content. BG 3 NEEDS campaign tools to help keep this flame alive. Larian are set to be giants of the gerne and heroes. And releasing propper tools, with the capacity to create new maps, characters, items, etc would ensure the longevity of both the legacy of BG 3 and support of larian. Ensure the mocap and voice capture techs included also. Charge for these tools If need be to help defer the cost of its development. No one would complain about paying for the ability to create more for this game.
4) Optional scalable difficulty: making the difficulty curve optional to higher and lower thresholds and able to adjust up to character levels and party size would be great. It's kinda silly dunking on creatures a lower lvl then the party. Making some content obsolete just because you're thorough in exploration.
