So I gave up on PC gaming and have primarily been a console gamer for about 7 years. Is there ANY way you guys know of to apply cheats in the console? I want a new game+ so badly.

Also as a side note. I would like to challenge the community here, to create a Restore spell mod, to show Larian how it can be done. I’m so sick of the “we can’t do X because of Y” and the excuse being that we would either be too OP or the bullshit excuse of it would create double development time, which I know you guys can get around easy. They literally just need to see it work and how much the community would love to be able to save Karlach.

This is a great game and I do love it. It’s just bland after 2 playthroughs and I feel just a carry over of characters and items would breathe so much more life into replays.

Your first sentence is the problem. BG3 plays great and scales well even on a 5 year old laptop with a mid range discrete graphics card. And mid range is exactly what the power of current gen consoles is compared to PC.

PC masterace talk aside, you have to understand Sony and Microsoft keep tight control on their consoles just like Apple does their Macs. Larian is not Bethesda (who implemented Xbox mods for their games, but not Playstation). You will have to build backend infrastructure to support modding on consoles too. Then comes the question of whether there is enough interest from modders, or how difficult it will be, to make those mods for consoles. The number of cross platform mods vs PC exclusives in games like Fallout 4 should give an indication. Remember, even console mods are made on PCs.

On PC, we have Nexus to thank for the wonderful things the community delivers.
