Hi everyone,

I already did some research and found several audio related bugs on the internet, however, nothing seems to describe what I am experiencing. Now I hope that this forum might be able to help.

Since a few weeks (it never happened shortly after release) I have an issue that suddenly and at random the sound begins to stutter influencing the performance at the same time, which makes the game basically unplayable. Thereby, it does not matter if I am playing on high or low settings. Sometimes it is over as sudden as it started. Sometimes it continues usually leading to me shutting down my PC in annoyance.

Here is an example I recorded:

Annoying sound bug

Funnily enough this occurrence could be stopped by zooming in close, which was not reproduceable the next time it happened.

Since it is independent of the graphic quality I assume my hardware is not the root cause. Nevertheless here are my specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Radeon RX 5700 XT

Any help is appreciated. I really would like to continue my playthrough

PS: Sorry about the "spam". I think there are now 3 threads with the same titel and I have no idea how to remove the faulty ones frown Why is even the forum buggy?

Short update:

I noticed that the issue often arises when I just started my system and GPU is "cold".

Tested it then after shortly using furmark up to 60°C GPU Temperature and did not experience any strange sound and performance issues throughout the session.

Currently, I do not know if this is Game specific but have never experienced it before.

Maybe this helps if someone runs into the same issue with a 5700 xt
