Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Clerics can't use maces??

Equipped The Blood of Lathandar on Shadwowheart and...she can't use it? I spec'd her in Tempest. Does any Cleric subclass allow maces?

I mean, mace + cleric is THE combo right?

Weird because I am 100% sure I gave it to her in my playthrough.

I guess you’re looking at the tooltip saying there isn’t proficiency… but it’s a tootip glitch, another party member probably can’t use maces. Refresh the tootip.

Yup, the tooltips showing info on the PREVIOUSLY examined party member is confusing ...
Maces? Who needs maces? My Shadowheart uses a naginata (glaive)! The "lady weapon" in Japan :P

Probably a bug.

In all timelines in my game Shart always wiled the mace.
