Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks HELP! Stuck on mini-boss Josephina

Hi I'm new to this forum and new to the game. Anyways, i played fine with not too many difficult encounters, character is level 21 warrior and got all the way down to the part where I'm supposed to collect the three elven artifacts stolen by the dwarves. But when I encountered Josephina the miniboss I would almost instantly die and could not do any damage to her. Even after using a lot of potions and spells. I killed the dwarves easily, but she seems never to run out of mana and keeps summoning a dreadknight which doesnt help. I've tried changing the difficulty setting to easy and I still almost die instantly without dealing her any damage.

Any help/comments is appreciated.

I also found her difficult. What I did was release loads of Scorpion traps in the room, and ran around until they'd done most of the damage. You should also check out the help section of the forum, which is where you should have posted this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> just in case your questions become *SPOILERS* for others playing the game.

She's in Divine Divinity and you've posted in the Beyond Divinity section. If you search in the DD forums there are zillions of posts about how to beat her all sorts of ways. (Scorpions are good though! You can drop 'em, nip back up the ladder, and then quietly polish your armour while the death stats float up from below... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )

Aww sorry about posting in the wrong place, that was dumb of me. Thanks for the help, but if its not too much trouble, is there some place i can buy scorpion traps?
