Steam version. Act 3, Ethel Fight. If you just go down the cellar, destroy one of the mushrooms, after the cutscene your game totally locks up. Only Hard Reset resolves this. Reproducable.
You have to go back up first after your character mentions "this looks familiar", talk to the pirate captain, and after this conversation you can go down again and the fight starts normally.

Oh, after this hard crash my whole game settings reversed. Every tutorial plays for me again (I cant even deactivate them), i had to redo keybindings, graphical settings etc.
And I now have two traveler Chests in my camp, items i send to camp are stored in the "new" one...

Ethel didn't do anything during the fight though which I feel might be a bug, but hey I'll take it.

Me pasa lo mismo con Ethel! Los personajes se bloquean, solo se mueve uno y no hace ninguna accion. Tampoco deja cargar partida, hay que apagar la Ps5 y aún así pasa lo mismo continuamente. He mandado un reporte de error a Larian. Voy a intentar la solucion que ha comentado el compañero a ver si funciona.

Thank you so much for pointing this out. After trying 20 times and failing to fix the issue, saw your comment and was able to progress.

Ethel is definitely broken doing it this route, just frozen in combat, but at least was able to continue on. Bummer to have missed out on that battle, but at least I'm not stuck.
