In Moonrise Towers all open doors now seem to block line of sight for attacking purposes. You have to be standing right on them to shoot, cast spells, or melee anyone through a fully open door.

Its a Bug looks Like..
Saw reports with this kind of Stuff happening with battles next to Doors Since 2.0
(now i always avoid battle next to then.. kind anoying becouse i have to Make then Come to Me Most of times until im able to start atack.)

It's a problem for most doors throughout the game. There is a certain sewer pipe where you are forced into initiative just inside a door and you can neither exit the door nor actually attack someone through it because of the issue, and it makes doing a certain thing for a certain purpose VERY difficult because it basically gives the other side two surprise rounds.

I had actuallly made it up the outside climbing the scaffolding ransacked his bedroom, then went back downstairs to hit the enemy from behind and aid the Harpers. It worked incredibly well until the two casters at the Absolute Door became untargetable

I've noticed that doors seem open but are actually closed. So I have to walk up to them, close them and reopen them before I can go through them. That might be the same issue you're having.
