There seems to be a multiclassing discrepancy in prepared spells between Cleric / Druid vs. Wizard / Sorcerer:

I have a Cle 2 / Dru 2 Shadowheart and a Wiz 2 / Sor 2 Gale. Both have L2 spell slots, but Gale can prepare L2 spells, Shadowheart cannot— she can only upcast L1 Cleric and Druid spells. Since these are all "full caster" classes, this shouldn't be the case, right?

Am I missing something?

I'm guessing that Gale learned his level 2 spells from scrolls? Other classes wouldn't actually know any level 2 spells until level 3, whereas the way Larian have implemented wizards they can learn any spell that they have high enough level spell slots for.

Several of Gale's spells did come from scrolls, but I'm pretty sure I got to select new 2nd level spells when I took Wizard at Level 3.

Gale's progression: Wizard 1 --> Sorcerer 1 --> Wiz 2 --> Sor 2.
Shadowheart's: Cleric 1 --> Druid 1 --> Cle 2 --> Dru 2.
