Yet another Patch 4 thread.

Ever since Patch 4, 95% of the time my wife and I try to play the game her game freezes right at the 100% mark. On the rare chance that she does before we just give up, we maybe get to play for 30 minutes before her characters start sliding around on the ground instead of walking, T-pose, and then crash. We had zero issues before, even in Act 3 which I've seen some complaints about, but now she can almost never load in so we can't play.

I posted a bug report, but Larian sent me some generic FAQ links and asked for a screenshot, which is a bit useless since it would look just like a picture of the loading screen on 100%.

Any help with this? Both systems are M1 or higher, we've tried taking graphics settings down as low as they go, we've tried restarting multiple times, no other programs are open, etc. Literally went from 0 issues to unplayable with the new patch.

Even my PS5 version, which I also bought, has started to crash from time to time since Patch 4. I didn't even know PS5 games crashed before this. Really rough patch implementation.

Not just on Mac .
Ps5 cloud gaming and pc to. Split screen is completely broken.
I could not play Lan option because all of my friends sayed good by to the game after patch 4.

Yeah I saw all of the PC & Mac compatibility issues due to version differences but wanted to throw this in as well because it's Mac to Mac. Sucks that Patch 4 messed up so much. I adore the game and just want to finish my co-op playthrough.

Same here. My brother uses Mac and we just got to Act 2 and were looking forward to him seeing it for the first time. But due to version mismatch we can no longer play. When are they fixing that, and wtf did they release a non compatible new version? So annoying.

We have the same bug for co-op game since Patch 4.
When we load an old save (before Patch 4), the game works fine.
However, if we load any save made after the new update, the host machine (either Mac or PC) can load the game just fine. But my wife (on Mac) will not be able to join most of the time - the loading screen would be stuck at 100% and the game just freeze. The rare chance that she can join in, the game would fail to load most of the UI components, and characters T-posing.

We haven't been able to play the game for more than a week now. It's very frustrating. I hope Larian is addressing this issue soon.
We are in Act 3, not sure if it is of an importance.

I think the problem only occurs when Mac is the guest on the coop game.
We tried to have my wife's mac be the host, and I use PC as the guest. The game seems to work for us.
Maybe you can try that out if you have a PC around.
