I was just wondering what you thought was the most "Impressive" spell in the game. Not necessarily the most powerful or anything like that, just what you thought was the coolest?
I recently made this video for my new YouTube channel "Gamewise" the video is about the most impressive spells in Baldur's Gate 3.
I would really like it if you could critique the heck out of the video, it's my first time doing a voice over, but I'm hoping you guys will enjoy it. The video is as spoiler-free as possible but does show some high level spells and Act 3 areas. I posted this on Reddit and people got a little bit upset about the promotion but hey, I think making BG videos for people to enjoy adds to the community, so there you go!
Well in my Opinion the Most Broken and Best one to Use its not even a Spell its a Simple Cantrip.. Eldrich Blast. xD i really broke the Game with my Sorlock and Palock using this.. the Hexablade too that shit is Broken.. (Fighter 7/Lock 5) and yu can even Double Cast with some itens and Builds.. really broken.haha

(but in terms of Power i beleave the Best ones are Haste, Counterspell, Fire Ball becouse yu can Upcast and do a lot of Damage and Chain Lightning.. the thunder that spreads always forget the name.) There are some Thunder Gods Builds out there that shows how strong that thing can Be. especially if yu Make then Wet after trowing that shit.. man its ridiculous the amount of Damage. its like Walk in a Park in Higher difficults solo.
I generally think self-promotion is a good thing. How else are folks supposed to be able to find you without a little bit of promotion? I never understand those who frown against it. I'd much prefer individuals promoting themselves than sitting through the advertising efforts of massive corporations.
Anyway, overall, I'd say the video was enjoyable. I appreciate the inclusion of humor throughout.
Just a critique note, for what it's worth: in my opinion, the video would have been helped with a bit more organization. Instead of "most impressive," I think you'd better with something like "top six most impressive spells!" Or however many you listed. Along with a count down. It helps the audience to know where they are in the list. To have a sense of what's coming, and it allows them to have a little fun by trying to predict what's next.

One of my favorite spells would have to be summoning the Cheeky Quasit. I really love that Larian included the option to get Shovel permanently as a familiar.
Light spells like Dancing light when I first started, speak with dead and the talking to animals spell, cheeky quasit like mentioned previously, and i was testing higher level spells out for druid and one of them summoned some dryad creature, which looked really cool.
That's about it so far haven't really tested everything out spell wise but a lot of them are just yep another fireball.
edit* wanted to post before watching and yeah that tele ability looks like fun.
It's on one hand the effect of the large number of missles that deal a bunch of force damage. On the other it's also a great allround weapon for when you really need to get rid of certain enemies quick.
Even the often neclected and forgotten Gale becomes a deadly weapon with that. I aöwas have him learn it as soon as i find it. ^^
Another vote for Counterspell. I also have psionic backlash (illithid) as reaction for both my PC and Shadowheart. It doesn't do much damage, but I love to see these 3 come in action together against the unfortunate spellcaster.
Spirit guardians is one that I use often. Lovely how you can damage the foe just by running around.
Summon elemental. The moment I get this spell at lvl 5, I cast it immediately after leaving camp as it stays up till next long rest. Very versatile weapon. For attacking, moving quickly over the battlefield and far or blocking a passage.
I always precast haste before big combat, I can slaughter most enemies beofre they take a turn and then use bonus action to cast sanctuary and I am untouchable until next round. Then next round I just finish off whoever remains .
Nice video. Globe of Invulnerability is another one. But I quickly changed my mind from "hey, that's useful!" to "oh, that's dull, not gonna use it." that's how op it is. Or maybe just the ai doesn't know how to deal with it.
