Went through the entire FAQ, nothing worked. Ended up reinstalling the game and it is still crashing on launch. The log files are completely empty so I can't even figure out what is happening.

[edited to add: I was able to roll the game back to the previous build and it's working beautifully again. It's definitely something in the new hotfix]

Hello! I have same error. Before hotfix i want play with Vulkan, but game always crash. When i switch DX11 i may play with 30 fps (and i have freeses). After hotfix the game crash Vulkan and DX11. I can't play. I tried all recommendations, but this hasn't effects.

I had to use the Steam console to download the previous build of the game to get it to work, absolutely nothing else did.

The last time I played I had to use the .exe file to bypass the Steam and Larian thingies.

It's not Steam or the Larian launcher causing the problems for me. Even going from the .exe directly it still crashes after a few seconds. Been poking through the dxdiag and it's still not totally clear what's even happening.

Anyone using Steam who has enough hard drive space for a second copy of the game might as well do what I did and get the last build back if they want to play right now.
