I'm sure on PC there is a toggle button to switch from ranged to melee weapons. This would be important at the end of the round after using ranged weapons but want to be able to use melee opportunity attacks. There is no apparent way of doing this on the PS5, or am I just blind. I miss the days when games came with proper manuals.

No, you’re not blind. This feature is missing on controllers. Console players have been raising this issue since day 1 and we never got a response. Personally, I sent 2 feedback reports about it already and got no reply back. Very disappointing It would be nice to at least know whether they will include it or not.
