I would like to post a thread because I encountered a blocking bug in Act 2 of Baldur's Gate 3, during the "Gauntlet of Shar" trials (I'm really sorry if my English is broken)
To complete “The Silent Library”, I need to put the book “Teachings of Loss: The Nightsinger” (Enseignement de Shar: Le Chant Nocturne in French) on the pedestal, in order to obtain the “Spear of Night”. However, it is impossible for me to recover or pick up this book.
As my captures shows, I can see very clearly which shelf contains the book, I see it by pressing the R3 key, it is highlighted, but I cannot select it.
Scanning doesn’t work either. I have the impression that the shelf suffered some damage during a fight, because the books are on the ground. Is this the reason? Is there a way to reset the room or zone?
I play on PS5 in French version. My current version of the game in the menu is “v4.1.1.3911062”.
Those bookcases are trapped with acid, I believe. Setting off the trap will destroy the bookcase and the book. But I *thought* there was another copy in another shelf. And I believe all the shelves in that room are trapped, if I'm recalling correctly.

I couldn't find a copy of the book in another library unfortunately...
@Ecc2a Yes I really want to finalize this quest, especially for Shadowheart. Afterwards I don't know if this is mandatory to finish the game.
@VillaKilla Sorry to hear you have the same problem as me I wrote a message to official support with my captures. Maybe the problem can be fixed in future updates? (I hope so)

I really hope you are right Kikor! I have probably destroyed the book(or something else) playing on PC. Now 200h and still in act 2 because I do not want to skip this phase and solve Shadowhearts questline. And kick ass on a certain boss related to this Quest/Spear.
