Since the poison cloud still lingers in the air if the caster's concentration is broken, it should still cause damage. My observations seem to confirm this, but I'm not sure. Another of my not-so-sure observation (since I don't see it often) is that if the caster lost the concentration but the poison cloud is still present, the caster can still recast Cloudkill without using another spell slot and regain concentration. Can anyone confirm this too? If so, that's a pretty good deal isn't it? Usually a broken concentration means you lose the spell effect and you lose the spell slot. But it seems neither is true for Cloudkill. To remove the Cloudkill effect, the enemy actually has to waste a spell, such as Gust of Wind, which they never do. If all this is true, Cloudkill is a winner all around.
