I am a Macbook casual gamer and very interested in playing Baldur's Gate 3 on OS X. Kudos to Larian team for releasing a native compiled version for Apple Silicon!
Unfortunately, both Steam Store and GOG store apps for Apple are severely handicapped because they are Intel only. Both Steam and GOG stores require Rosetta emulator to run, which is just annoying at this point.
Can Larian team please consider releasing Baldur's Gate on the Mac App Store? I am sure Apple charges a ton more commission than Steam or GOG, but it also serves a much larger audience. Releasing BG3 on Mac App store might be a big boost in revenue for the studio, and it will save me from having to use emulated Intel game stores.
