Always, in such games, I lost 75% of interest when I reached the maximum level in leveling up.
You reach the maximum level in pumping - and the development of the characters stops.

No, of course there is slightly better gear, you can buy or find it. Maybe somewhere 1 stat or +10 HP will be added to a quest or interactive object, but it’s not the same. These are minor little things that don’t affect anything.

It's just that all character development, for me, has completely stopped and I can't bring myself to show interest in the development of the game. Well, maybe just to get to the finale as quickly as possible to see how it ends, that’s all. All other game options died for me.

Why clear some locations and objects? Well, the maximum is that they will give you some kind of gear that is close to what you already have or that you can buy. And I don’t need this gear, because I understand that it differs so little from what I have that I can get through to the end without it and won’t even notice the difference.

And there will be dlc. And there will be a lot of DLC. And what? Will they spread 12 levels throughout the game and all the DLC? Yes, over time this will turn into complete torture. Balance is very important!

But damn it is possible to add additional game modes, where experience will not be lost, but will go to multiclasses or just to attack, etc. Let the canonical wankers play the canonical game, limited to 12 classes, and let others choose other game modes, without level restrictions.

Let the mobs there also not have a level limit, if this is so important. Or just let there be more of them, or let them synchronize with the player’s level differently.

There are many possibilities.
You can simply add HP and attacks with each level of the player and monsters.
It can be done so that after level 12 the multiclass of the player and his enemies increases.
You can make the development branch go all the way up to level 50 for both players and monsters.
All this should be done in separate game modes so that D&D fans don’t get indignant (after all, the classic mode remained untouched.

P.S. Already wrote about this. But the problem really keeps expanding with the expansion of content. I'm afraid to imagine what will happen when the DLC starts coming out.
