Ok, so this is a Gale playthrough. At the end of Act 3 when climbing the Netherstalk to get to ther Netherbrain, you get a choice to have Gale send the rest of the party away and detonate the Karsus Weave or whatever. So I did this, he blows up. Queue the cutscene with Orpheus and Asterion, Asterion is surprised to find he'll miss Gale, Orpheus applauds his sacrifice. Then the dragons all start to leave. Then Orpheus TURNS TO GALE and thanks him and leaves. Rest of the cutscene plays out like Gale didn't blow himself to kingdom come...
