I've initiated a Durge evil gameplay and didn't interact with any companion trusting that minthara would be the one. As act II comes to an end, interactions are great, and a new dialogue with minthara happens early act 3 where she is decided to take one step further in the relationship by saying that she would come for the character on that evening. That never happens and next interaction is "You are bold to come to me after what you did"(or something like that, completely locking out any other interactions...

Yes, this is apparently a new bug that hard bricks Minthara's romance, in addition to not showing the cutscenes. Back when Minthara hotfix was released, several players said that a lot of her story was still broken. Now it is more broken.

I can confirm that no romance scene plays, even after the latest patch. I haven't tested whether it still bricks or not.

I haven't been able to reproduce this after the patch so far. But when it first happened, there was at least couple of hours of playing between starting the romance and it bricking so it is impossible to retrace every step.

Right now Minthara has professed her undying yearning to be as one soul with me, then she is like "hey, sup". There is no special dialogue that indicates we are in a relationship like there was with the other companions. I am not sure what to think, or if it is safe to continue playing, but it doesn't feel right.

I just did too. It doesn't matter, dozens of players have already reported this, and the forums are full of similar experiences. It should also be pretty obvious in Larian's telemetry and stats, too. Even going back months ago, players were pointing out that the supposed Minthara fix hadn't worked. This seems to be new though, on top of everything else.

Yes, I just thought that bg3 is a game with fan-service, hope it'll be fixed soon
