Hi,
I foudnd interesting chelenge, when you a wizard, and you don't sleep.
We have a lot of spells, potions, but mostly we don't need it, iven on the hard mod.
But, if you don't sleep, you need to save you standard hight level spells for really hard fight, and use trics, spels, crolls and game physic to win the game.
I found several mechanics and problem in the Act I, when i tried to done the game without sleeping.
- most important, i lose a lot of cutscene and dialogs in the camp that open your companions for you.
Mostly, in the act one, all my companions think, i'm wondreful. But, without camp scenes, only the people that was with me in travel, think i'm good... just Shadowheart think i'm wondreful.
Other companions has neital position.
- If i saved Carlah before i met Vill, will disapear from the druid grove and i don't see him all the time i'm in Act I.
- Quest problems. We have quests that triggers with two steps: you met someone, have rest and on the next day you will see the result. For exaples guys with the box from the Zentarim, I saved them, but they don't came to Zaris, untill i will have rest. And if i will tell Zarias that they will came, and in that moment the box is with these guys, and i will still it after that(without murders), and then will have a rest. They will came to Zaris, the box will disapear from my bag, and Zaris tell thank you.
- mess. When i will go via mountain pass, i will have mandatory rest and all cutscens in one place:
If i is the Baal spawn, the bard will came into the camp.
Then Vill will came into the camp and try co kill Carlah.
Then (if the Vill is live and didn't kill Carlah), theMizora will come.
Then hero will kill the bard.
Then gardian will show us how he protect us.
And after all of that, the dialog in the camp will be only about the gardian, and not about Mizora, murders or something else.
Ideas:
- I think, it will be a good, if Vill goes away from the grow, if the Carlah with us, he can catch us in the first willage with goblins.
- quest with the box, they can goes away, when the hero will be in another location or leave them.
It was really interesting to have this challenge, and be ware to spend to much things. I worried about any potions, about any spells, and i thought twice, when i made a decision attack or speek.
Maybe someone have other ideas and situations?
