I created this account to simply echo my experience post patch 4 and add to the other voices that I have seen in hopes there is a fix. I have not seen widespread discussion on this

I'm on PC, steam version

Since patch 4, the entire environment in Act III is shut down — companions do not follow Tav, NPCs walk in place or completely vanish, unable to interact with anyone or anything, unable to select different companions, cannot save, and cannot reload. The lag will resolve for about 15 seconds every 10 minutes. This is a profound problem and extremely unfortunate that this happened. Please fix this asap Larian.

While I feel it's important that we all speak up about this, it's a little odd that you don't use your own words to express your thoughts about it, and rather copy and paste mine from my thread here: https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=922399#Post922399 and use it as your own. But, I'm flattered, and glad that more voices are joining the chorus.

I experience the exact same thing in act 3.
Had no issues in act 1 and 2 but act 3 is full of bugs.
Huuuuge lag spikes (nothing to do with my connection).
I move my Tav and wait for 20-30 seconds before the others respond.
Some areas are worse than others. Wurms Rock is terrible where the wait were so long I thought it was frozen until I just let it sit for minutes.
The areas around Lower City Central Wall is also hugely affected.

I have the same issue since yesterday - unplayable act 3, dialogues working though but after you leave - waiting for ages to use actions or my crew stuck somewhere. Very frustrating.
