I killed the drider and freed the pixie from the Moonlantern and now I can't travel in the deep shadow curse areas without dieing. Is it possible to do? I've read people saying get another Moonlantern from Bathazar's room in the tower but that isn't a Moonlantern it's a Shadowlantern so it won't work.
I have the bell the pikie gave me and I also have the blessing from Isobel but neither are working for the deeper shadow cursed areas.

Personally I would recommend going back to an earlier save and not freeing the pixie. That’s what I would do. There is an actual moonlantern in Balthasar’s office as well

Welp it looks like I spoke to soon. I just tried the pixie bell and that seems to be working. Thought I was gonna have to reload a way way back.

Yeah if you free her she gives you a pixie bell that you shake/ring and it summons her. She then gives you a blessing that's equal to the Moonlantern lighting but you don't need to worry about staying close to each other like you do with the actual Moonlantern. You can spread out as much as you want. Kinda like Isobel's blessing but way better obviously since it works for deeper shadow areas too. I was under the impression (before I tried it) that it was just the same as Isobel's blessing but it's way better.

The pixie gives you a blessing in form of that bell, that will protect you from the curse.

Well Like others Told Here already..
The Best Option is to Free the Pixie becouse yu Get the Bless and will be able to walk around without anything like Light or even Isobel Bless.
Actually yu can avoid her encounter in Last Light.
Did any of yu ever Tried to Skip Her to see what Happens ? haha xD

BTW if yu dont Get the Bless from Her.
its a Bug i beleave if yu Free her yu should Get..
Unless yu are the Durge and Choose to Kill Her.. haha xD
(Really funny doing these Unique Durge evil stuff.)

Another Stuff.. yu can actually Left Isobel Been Taken in last Light too and get out of there just to where yu find the encounter and do it Solo without the Harpers..
In case Last Light Fall.. its even Funnier becouse if yu are Charisma yu just Take the Lamp and send then to Walk and Die in the Shadow.. yeah i love doing these stuff in this Game
(but yu will Find then Latter as Shadows to Fight and get a Bunch of XP and the wepon from the Drow..)
i Love this Route.. Act 2 Get so Much Hard and Darker, Felt Like Playing Bloodborne all over Again..

Another Stuff.. if yu Go Dark and want Jaheira Saved before Dealing with the Night Song.. This route its the Best..
When the Last Light Fall just Send Her to Camp and she will be safe.
Yu will Get to Fight Imortal Dude Solo too its Much More Cooler in my opinion..
yu Get some unique intimidation stuff that are Pretty neat.. i Love it.

Another Tip.. Yu can go Back to act 1 stuff Just dont Forget to Re Aply the Buff from the Pixie when yu Cross to Shadowland..
Go into inventory and Use the Stuff she Gave yu.. and the interaction yu get asking her to aply again its really Funny.. give a Try. huhauha xD
