So since this morning my game just crashes when I long rest. I have no mods installed and currently running patch 5.

Anyone experiencing the same thing? I really want to get to the new epilogue pls.

Went back to an older save (1 hour ugh) but now it's not crashin, let's hope it will stay this way.

Sadly I cannot get passed the party in act 1... game keeps crashing.

Hmmm...not having this problem. Game actually been working for me since Patch 5.

Yes I have, I am glad its been working for you now.

I haven't had any problems so far, besides from some minor bugs on patch 3.

Crashing here randomly when coop

I have the same problem, When taking a long rest in Camp after the tieflings gather in your camp for a party, I take a long rest and the game crashes.

I'm getting this in act one. I've already had the Tieflings event. It's crashingon rest after that on the camp event
I've tried deleting temp files/caches, earlier save, verifying cage, uninstalling then reinstalling. Nothing works.

Shiiit that sucks! I hope it gets a fix soon, I want to move on with my Astarion playthrough and I am also scared to start a new run... in case it will happen to that one too.

For anybody that has the some problem, for me and a few others it was fixed by going back to Minthara and killing her instead of knocking her out.

I have the same problem on PS5. If Minthara is knocked out, Long Rest results in a crash. If I kill her, there's no crash.

I've submitted a bug report and hopefully they fix it soon!

There's been a few hotfixes but I'm still getting the crashes. Has anyone had better luck or found a workaround other than killing Minthara?

No sorry I haven't heard back on a different fix yet, they are working on it.

I experienced this today as well on my PC honour mode run. After clearing the goblin camp and knocking Minthara out, any long rest will crash the game prior to it saving. As of now it seems I am stuck unless I go back and kill Minthara (assuming that fixes the issue). Hoping for a fix soon, otherwise I have to proceed without Minthara.

I killed Minthara, her body went in to the chasm. So that wasn't the cause of this issue for me.

You might have another issue then. It seems most crashes are from knocking out Minthara, then long resting. There's been two hotfixes and no solution yet. I'm holding out on long resting in my honour mode run and went to the underdark instead. If the next hotfix doesn't fix this issue or doesn't come within a day or so, I'll just kill Minthara and report back here if I can long rest without crashing. Really sucks for people wanting to recruit Minthara, but I can't wait too long on a fix that may or may not come.

Same here. Minthara is knocked out and the game kept crashing trying to long rest. I saved in camp because I didn't want to keep doing the dialog of Wyll and Mizora, so now my game is completely unplayable since I can't fast travel out of camp and if I complete the long rest, the game crashes. This is my honor mode run :'(

Ok but I have a cooperative honour mode run working and a single player tactician run crashing. I knocked Mintara out in both the playthrough...

Okay so I have found a solution if you want to recruit Minthara but you're crashing on long resting. It involves not long resting until you get to Mountain Pass. That way you skip the tiefling party or whatever cutscene you have in act 1. Long rest at Mountain Pass. The game won't crash there, then you can proceed to Moonrise Towers and find Minthara there.

It can be a bit tedious, but just respec with Withers to get most of your spell slots back.

Awww but the tiefling party is so fun! I hope they just do something about this in the next patch. I’m playing on PC, and I’ve made Minthara temporarily hostile by stealing something in front of her before knocking her out. I haven’t had an issue with crashing so far. Playing on balanced mode.
