Patch 5 loaded. Situation in my game just before going for the Elder Brain : i was romancing Shadowheart (approval 100%, many dialogues confirming the romance)
More details :
- Shadowheart ascended as Mother of Shar's Church.
- Minthara refused to talk to me any longer as i "romanced someone else".
- For the last battle, I decided to leave Shadowheart in camp and bring Minthara, Astarion and Gale with me in
Here comes the endgame,
Elder Brain defeated, i chose to destroy it and refused to become the Absolute or help the Emperor become the Absolute
And the Epilogue (thanks Larian for this great add-on).
Epilogue : my romance with Minthara and Shadowheart :
During the Epilogue, Minthara had become my wife, called me "my love", and we lived together.
Nonetheless, Shadowheart asked me to take her in my arms when we met again, but that was all.
I was quite surprised, as i was trying during the whole game to romance both of them. Shadowheart led the contest, until the very end, where Minthara won it on the finish line.
Maybe an ascending Shadowheart, mother of Shar's church, can not be involved in a romance in endgame ? Any confirmation of this ?
Or maybe Shadowheart dumped me because i did not bring her to the ultimate battle ??
I suppose this turnaround is a bug. But maybe it is intended. Any similar experience ?
