After the fight in the Tollhouse, there are piles of gold strewn all over the place. Unfortunately, none of it can be picked up.
Doing a search online, someone said to uncheck "Always Show Item Stack Splitter" in the options under Interface, but there is no such option for us PS5 players.
Why the PC and PS5 versions have different options is beyond me, but does anyone know how to get all this gold?

The only time I had trouble picking up the gold was when there were 5 pieces layered underneath the floorboard. I normally just press down L3, then use left directional pad on PS5 until it selects the correct item. Usually this allows me to pick the gold up. If you have a character with Mage Hand, they might also be able to grab the gold and throw it to an easier spot for you to pick up.

All of this gold is on the floor and not buried under anything, so it's not one of those "can't reach" situations. I've moved the gold, but it still can't be picked up into inventory.

I've actually done this battle 2 ways, One was talking my way out of it (Told her I was the toll collector, come to replace her), and the other was battling. When I battled her, she threw "gold" on the ground, but these gold pieces actually explode over time. I'm just wondering if you're trying to pick up her explosive gold, and it's not letting you.
Were you ever able to pick up the gold, prior to initiating the battle? You could test it by loading a save file prior to the battle, and see if you can pick up the gold then.
When I talk my way out of it, I can loot the gold without issue.

I play on ps5 and at the time that I had this issue, that setting was in the options on ps5. Solved my issue by turning it off but that was a few big patches ago. After reading your post I checked again and it is indeed missing now. I don’t know why it isn’t there anymore but it was a while back. Could be an error that larian needs to fix

What exactly about that option needed to be removed for us PS5 players?

Sent in a support ticket and got a response saying they were aware of the issue and looking into it.
By the time they actually do something about it (if at all) I and many others will be far past that point.

Update, as it's only fair, looks like I was wrong.
The latest hotfix actually fixed it. I was able to pick up all that gold.
