Greetings to all. I apologize in advance for my English, which I skipped at school) I had suspicions about a bug in the second act with Moll at the last light tavern. When I played the game for the first time, Moll was playing chess with Raphael and there was a corresponding dialogue with them. Now I decided to replay the game for the Dark Temptation and now when I come to the Last Light Tavern that Moll is standing next to Raphael and when talking to her, she asks not to distract her as she is waiting for an important conversation, and Raphael just greets us and starts talking about the parasite in his head again, after which he disappears, and Moll continues to stand in the same place and the dialogue with her does not change in any way, she still asks not to interfere with her. As the story progresses, the tavern is attacked and Moll is carried away by a Ghoul and we never find out about her contract with Raphael. The question is, is this a bug, or is the scenario of the game different from the Dark Temptation, or maybe this is the result of the last major patch, in which the plot may have been changed?

I experienced the same thing. The dialogue with Raphael provides new information, so I think they changed it on purpose.

This is a bug. I had the same thing happen, also on Dark Urge. Raphael talks about Ketheric and the tadpole while mol just stands there? I ended up going several save files back and when i reached that point again, it was how it should be- Raphael and Mol playing chess, talking about Mol giving her soul to Raphael.

I have no idea what makes that particular scene bug out, but it is a bug. You might need to go back in your saves to get it to fix itself. I'm pretty sure the game is treating Mol as if she were dead, so the dialogue Raphael has is what he'd say if Mol never made it to Act 2.

I tried to load an early save, but the situation does not change. I'll try to download even earlier saves.

Confirmed. Works with an earlier save from another campaign, pre Patch 5 with Raphael and Mol playing chess, but not with a new character run created after the release of patch 5.

This bug occurs if you start a new character or load a save from before you enter the shadow-cursed lands. Using a save from before patch 5 where you had already entered the shadow-cursed lands let's you see the old version. The problem seems to be that Mol never hops onto the chair next to the lanceboard and gets stuck on the way there instead.

Astarion's bit with Raphael is also bugged out here since you can ask him about his scars as if you had not seen them before, even if you have.

Confirmed, this is annoying...

I tried to load the save before entering the second act, the problem remains.

I recently read that patch 5 has made so many changes to the game that it is better to start a new game in order to avoid mistakes.

Nope, i started a brand new campaign on patch 5, i ran on the Mol chess scene bug anyway...

I really want them to fix this.
I really like that lanceboard scene.

Ditto. Started a brand new campaign after patch 5 and ran into this problem. When loading an old save from a pre-patch 5 campaign, the scene plays out like it's supposed to.

There used to be a small fun cutscene that played when you entered Act 2 as a Drow as well, and it appears to have up and vanished with the Mol/Raphael scene.

I just had this issue as well. Very weird.

Poor Mol. I hope I can see the chess scene next time I play. I got the same bug as the rest of you.

Can confirm. Read about this bug on Reddit. Loaded one of my previous saves from Patch 4 to check. Made it to the Last Light and Mol isn't sitting at the table with Raphael but just standing nearby. Back in November same playthrough worked fine.

Can confirm this, it's also been mentioned a few times in Larian Discord.

Also to mention that in my game the Inn wasn't attacked and Moll was never carried off but nevertheless in Act 3 when you speak to her she talks about escaping from Moonrise.

Can confirm this too. Raphael is there and I talk to Mol but she just says not to disturb her. I can talk to Raphael with Astarion in my party and he does the naked clothing trick where you see the runes etched into his back, but nothing about hearing about Mol's deal with Raphael or anything else.

Can confirm, my game was created post-patch 5 and this happens regardless of long resting or not. Mol is standing right next to the table instead of playing with Raphael and responds with a one-line dialogue. The dialogue that triggers when talking to Raphael is the same as if the grove was axed. Also, he does the shirtless scene with Astarion even though my character has seen his scars already.

I loved the little game scene with Mol hope they bring it back
