Since the most recent patch and quick fix my game crashes if I try to long rest. (also the recent hotfix didn't fix it)
I have an event where the Owlbear and Scratch make noise and you can go to investigate. No matter what I do it crashes to desktop after the sleep cut scene.

I've tried:
deleting all the files in cache
verifying all files
making a new save then trying to rest after that
Loading earlier saves
I uninstalled then reinstalled.
Tried deleting some older Auto and Quick Saves to see if they were taking up too much space/save capacity
Made a new save immediately before trying to long rest
Verified files after the recent quick fix small patch
Fast travelling somewhere else then returning to camp for long rest
Tried just clicking the long rest instead of clicking go to camp
Used all Tav's spell slots before trying long rest
Talking to everyone at camp then long rest
Talking to no-one at camp then long rest
Disabled Auto save
Running Borderless window instead of Fullscreen
But nothing at the moment is fixing this.
When trying older saves that didn't have this event they also crashed to desktop.

I killed Minthara so her being knocked out isn't the issue here.

Managed to sort of solve this by not long resting until I got to Mountain Pass
