Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Interaction dialog missing in Act 1 camp celebration (patch 5, maybe)

Using Patch 5, none of the visitors to the celebration in camp in Act 1 will speak to me. They correctly speak to each other, and I can speak to any of my party members, pets, & Withers as normal (including scheduling a liaison later that evening with other party members), but clicking on the visitors does absolutely nothing. I've reported the bug to Larian.

Are you playing on PC, PS5, or Xbox?

I had the Same Problem in my Last Game..
But was the one i run before the Patch 5 roll out..
When the new Patch 5.0 roll out i was already in act 3 just waiting with my 2 runs..
Btw this did not Happen in the Goblin Party only with Grove one.
To be able to Talk with any of then during the Party i had to Left Click and select Talk then would work.
(same happen in Act 2 with arabella but when i sleep and try in the next morning worked ok to finish her quest.)

PC/Steam -- I should have mentioned that here too.

Do you crash after resting after the celebration?

I had the same issue on my post-patch 5 playthrough. My character could not speak to any of the tieflings at the party in camp. I'd click on the party guest, my character would walk over and nothing would happen. I'm playing on PC and bought my game from Steam. I tried reloading but it didn't help. It also happened with Arabella in Act 2 but I was able to speak to her after long resting.

When you get back to Grove, Zev will tell you about the celebration and you need to travel with him to trigger the start. If you tell him that you will go later, which is what most people do, then the event stalls out.
So, go talk to Halsin and everyone else, get your rewards, then go back to Zev and travel together.
Probably Hotfixed in the next patch.
