Did I miss something crucial or does the Bhaalspawn ending not exist? Or any ending that opts to dominate the brain. It goes right from betraying whoever the illithid party member is, to rolling the credits, right back to the main menu. I had chosen to accept Bhaal, become an unholy assassin, and then later to dominate the brain for Bhaal, to which after the game very unceremoniously ended.

Is this intentional design, or a bug, or something like that? Why is there no epilogue?

I think it is intentional. Also renouncing Bhaal 's heritage, the game ends after becoming the absolute. (With patch 5)

There's also an error in the normal ending, as the Durge (rejected Bhaal) reflects on the murders he/she committed in the past. The worst and most painful of the memories was killing Shadowheart. But I resisted the urge and didn't kill her. And she's also on the afterparty alive and kicking.
