During the fight with Filro the Forgotten, I had Lae'zel holding a Sussur Flower. She was in Filro's face, he had the antimagic field status on him, yet when she attacked, he cast Shield causing her to miss. Then the next round, he casts Tasha's Hideous Laughter on her while still in the antimagic field. She saved and then beat him down, so it all worked out, but he shouldn't have been able to cast those spells at all.
