Hi for some time (from patch 3 i think) im strugling with "kill camera" (that one which zoom on dying npc, when you to example send magic missle barrage on goblin, camera zoom on him so you see up close as is he hit by them staggers and fell death). From patch 3 it zoom too close or foccus on some point under ground perhaps? Ressult is that i see ground up close and somethimes at least legs of target.
So far i tried update graphic drivers, clean instal both game and drivers and switching directx/vulcan without success.

Does anyone know how to fix it or disable zooming entirely (not ideal but better that have flow of game interrupted by floor detail every now and then).

It's an in-game bug so it's something Larian has to fix on their end.

You could try maybe turning off Dynamic Camera in the settings, but then it won't track any NPC turns at all anymore.

Yeah I have the same, though not sure if it's since patch 3. It feels more recent than that.


I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, 'wouldn't it be much worse if life *were* fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them?'

I have the same issue. I've had this issue on and off since I started playing in Patch 3, but it's definitely much, much worse in Patch 5.
