For context, I am a
durge romancing shadowheart during the game. Macos too.
Similar for me, scratch, karlash and withers would not get into dialogue, except Karlash if I had decided to
before. Then karlash will talk to me (scratch and withers still won't). But even when Karlash does not talk to me, the
"eating her brain" post-dialogue still appears after attempting to talk with her
.
Moreover, even before the party,
if I choose to go with Karlash AND Wyll at hell, now the hell cutscene before the epilogue has only me and Karlash (was not the case in patch 4).
Finally, not sure if these are intended, but romancing Shadowheart,
if after the final battle I choose "Is this how we part ways?" option I get the epilogue where in the epilogue we are together together. If I choose "Come with me > I respect that" we are not, and no romance related options/references to our relationship appear (which felt so depressing, having being my initial choice), despite her reactions to both dialogue options being similar at the time (apart from now, but want to reconnect in the future; so I would have expected at least some recognition of what had went through in the "I respect that" timeline?). When you insist after the "come with me" gives the same epilogue as "Is this how we part ways".
Tara
is acting as if Gale is missing from the party if I click to talk with her, but my Gale is just right there and has become a professor in Waterdeep (and Tara participates in my dialogue with Gale, they live together etc).
I replayed all the final battles area, ie reloading from before I took the boat to enter the no-turning-back area (did not make a difference compared to just before the last fight). I use gog and while I did not fully reinstall the game (just used the gog updater), I went through gog's check of the integrity of the full installation afterwards and it passed.
