Erratic mouse behaviour always makes me wonder : What input devices are connected to the PC ? Do you have something other than mouse and leyboard, like joystick, pedals etc... ?
If you have, see if the problem disappears when you disconnect them. (All input devices except keyboard and mouse)
None. I tried to solve it on my own, but there's no discernible cause. The mouse works perfectly fine on its own, it's that the game won't accept input from a mouse symbol in the desktop shape instead of the iron glove. It comes and goes and shifts fluidly between the fast travel selection. When it's in the iron glove shape, traveling works. When it's in the desktop shape, it does not. It only affects one of my custom characters as well. A lot of things are bugged and wrong in that playthrough, this is just one example.
It only happens when in the map menu at least. It's never turned into another shape in any other menu or screen
