So I've been looking online and I can't seem to see anyone discussing this. I know about the save bug but thankfully that's not what I'm talking about. It's completely random but my game crashes to dashboard. Sometimes I'll load into the game, move a few feet then it crashes. Sometimes I'll load into an area then crash. Get some dialogue, crashes to dashboard. I've tried unlinking my save and it still crashes. Tried not running performance mode, turning off autosaves, and it still crashes. I deleted my old save and started a brand new game and still crashes. Game is completely unplayable for me cause I spend more time crashing then playing the game. Sometimes I can play for 15-30 minutes or sometimes I can only play for a few seconds before it crashes. I'm just wanting to know if anyone else is crashing constantly cause I haven't seen any posts about this. The post I see are just discussing the save deleting bug.

Same issue. Been trying to play multiplayer with 2 other friends. Randomly any one of us will crash to dashboard within a few mins of gameplay. Usually the host, but not always. Two Xbox Series X, one S.

So annoying. Didn't happen prior to hotfix15. Seems to happen when looting or loading screens. It's unplayable at this point. So much for playing over the holiday break.

I've been seeing this too, I'm on the series X and it has made the game almost unplayable. I'm on my second character about 20hrs in when it started and I've been playing solo. This problem started sometime between Dec 23rd and Dec 27 for me (I didn't play over the holidays so I only noticed on the 27th but I had last played the 22nd). I didn't have any issues with the game leading up to the holidays (about two weeks). I can go roughly 15 minutes before a crash but I also see it can be as short as a minute before the crash. Most commonly the crashes happen during dialogue and I feel like most of the game has become substantially buggy-er than it was before the holidays.

Hopefully, there is a hotfix/patch that comes through soon and I'm fingers crossed that this isn't an "uninstall and delete all your saves" sort of issue. I was having a blast playing the game but it does knock the wind out of my sails having to sit around knowing the game is broken.

Exactly our experience! Ridiculous.

I have the same issue. I returned to my home after the holidays and decided to start a new game, having finally gotten over losing my 50 hours of progress. Now, the moment I hit start on new game regardless of difficulty it crashes instantly, 100% of the time.

I’ve tried every reset under the sun. Nothings working. They need to patch something ASAP. I just hope someone is working on it

So I have a steam friend who shared his steam version of the game with me and I loaded my crosssave on PC. Went back to Xbox to try and get an achievement real quick and was able to play a few hours with no crashes. If you guys have the option to load a crosssave to another device (Mine was from Xbox to PC back to Xbox) this may help you guys. This was the longest play session I had without it crashing on the Xbox but I haven't played recently so maybe I got lucky.

Don't delete your saves and reinstall because it still does it after I deleted my saved and reinstalled the game. Thankfully I just did the intro so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Having a similar issue. Wife and I have been playing couch co op on the series X for over 85hours... But now that we're in Act 3, the game constantly crashes to the Xbox home while we're in Lower City. It's unplayable

Just an update: We're still in Act 1, but lately no crashes. One thing I changed was making sure the host was on a solid WIRED connection (not wifi, even though my wifi is pretty solid). Between that, and turning on sync'ing to Larian servers/cross-save ON, these are the only changes we've made. So far so good.

I tried connecting a Larin account to the game to see if that did the trick, I've been wired since the crashes began, and I didn't make it more than 5 minutes before crashing to the Xbox home dash. I'm currently nearing the end of Act 1 in the creche.

Just happened to me, game dashboards at the Larian logo when trying to log in. (SeriesX)
