I had read that you gain five levels when you transport to the wasteland, but when I went I gained six levels. Anyone get different results? I did have level 5 Wisdom though so maybe that is why?

Raze had a post somewhere about if you use wisdom,you get only one or two extra levels.

I maxed Wisdom also, but only got 5 levels on becoming the Divine One. The experience bonus for this was not enough to get another level, or anywhere near close, that I recall.

Wisdom - is it worth the skill points?

Did you gain six levels or six skill points? Remember that you gain 2 skill points for every fifth level you reach, making six skill points every five levels.

If you were a low level maybe you would move up more?

I'm pretty sure that they just trigger five level-ups, one after the other, like the ones in the level-up jug and the wishing well. It gives you exactly enough experience to reach the next level. You can briefly see five experience awards when you become the Divine One.

Doh! You are most likely right. I probably just looked at all those juicy skill points and thought I gained 6 levels, but since 5 levels is 6 skill points....
