Or maybe I could've just said: Knock-outs aren't working properly, I suppose. laugh

I've had this happen to me now for the third boss encounter and since this is on an Honour-run, I did have to cheeze the game quite a bit to keep my play-through going without having to suffer weird story-consequences from those glitches.

1. Minsc-fight - which, technically, is a boss-fight, I suppose. Fight starts, Jaheira yells her "don't kill him!" line - so I switched my party to non-lethal, then proceeded to take out Ms. Moonglow and knock out Minsc early. Once he was KO, I switched back to lethal damage and mopped up the rest. Fight ended, complete with "fight won"-music and floating XP-numbers, but then Minsc simply got back up, sword at the ready and still marked as an enemy. It was as if the fight had re-started (Jaheira even yelled her "don't kill him!" line again) - and the cut-scene that's supposed to play here automatically never got triggered. I switched back to non-lethal and tried to interact with Minsc first, which didn't work - then I tried to knock him out again, which killed him. Resulting in Jaheira leaving the party and me killing BG3.exe to avoid messing up my save-game. Felt like such a cheat, but then again, this wasn't my fault. Next attempt worked as intended and all I did differently was to leave Non-Lethal damage active for the entire fight. Weirdly enough, during my first attempt, enemies that were downed by non-lethal weren't shown as "knocked out" after the fight but as "dead".

2. House of Hope/Raphael fight doesn't involve knock-outs per se, but since I'm such a goody-two-shoes kinda Tav, I always try and save Korilla and I did use non-lethal damage briefly in turn/round one. Once she was out cold and safely under the Sphere of Invulnerability however, I switched back to lethal damage. Which resulted in: Cut-scene with Hope upon defeat of Raphael got cut short and I never got her reward - because Raphael had stood up again just as the end-of-fight dialogue had triggered, technically restarting the fight (has was at 1 HP, I believe). Hitting him again only made him get back up again and it took a couple of hits to put him down for good and truly ending the fight. Alas, that meant I never got to do Hope's post-fight dialogue and, more importantly, never was rewarded her Gloves. So, it was off to CTRL-ALT-DEL-town for me again to restart the fight.

3. The Viconia-fight has a built-in knockout that happens automatically. That one glitched out on me as well - but the consequences weren't that profound. What would happen is that once the fight's over and I tried to interact with downed Viconia, a dialogue scene would trigger I'd never seen with her before (with her looking normal and standing, instead of being on the floor and near death) - giving me the option to tell her about the Prism, walk away or attack. The whole scene did not fit in here story-wise and choosing "attack" would trigger her line she uses when initially starting the fight (reminded me of the Minsc-fight in that regard, since the fight also got re-started somehow). Once "attack" was chosen, there was no fight and Viconia was still downed and her minions all dead. Tried talking to her again with the same result, so I simply killed her for good with a normal attack. Which did trigger Jaheira's and Minsc's approval and advanced the quest - but I never got to see the final SH/Viconia interaction where Tav can knife her during the dialogue.
