Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems I think my Blood of Lathander is bugged.

In my current ongoing game I have it equipped on Shadowheart and I don't think I've seen it blinding a single undead in the last 10 hours or so roaming the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

To be clear I'm not saying that every single undead or fiend or whatever is resisting the effect.
I'm saying that I didn't see a single one of these creatures having to roll a check to begin with.
Still, the description of the item clearly includes the effect, so I doubt they just stealth-nerfed it.

Yeah there's something weird going on with it, I recommend checking that Lathander's passive is active in the spellbook because I've noticed in my current Honour playthrough that the passive just randomly turns itself off from time to time.

Unfortunately I do not know exactly why because I can't properly test bugs in this mode, so instead I just dragged the passive directly onto the hotbar to ensure it always remains active.

My only guess is that those Shadows casting that light-sucking aura somehow turn it off, but I never saw them extinguish the mace before Update #5.

Well, what do you know, it was actually the passive not working.

Now, the oddities about it.
1- I didn't even know the weapon had a passive, since in the previous playthroughs I never turned it off.
2 The passive wasn't actually deselected. It was toggled as active but just not working. Toggling it off and then on again seems to have solved the issue.
